Diagnostic Radiologist
Duties and Responsibilities: A Radiologist is a physician who is also an imaging expert with specialized training in obtaining and interpreting medical images obtained by using x-rays (radiographs, CT,fluoroscopy) or radioactive substances (nuclear medicine) or by other means such as sound waves (ultrasound) or the body's natural magnetism (MRI).
Salary: $61,000 per year
Education: a 4-year bachelor's degree program. Then they must complete four years of medical school followed by several years of residency training in radiology. In addition to being able to interpret x-rays, ultrasounds, and related images, diagnostic radiologists must be skilled at interpersonal communication. Because the nature of the work involves scanning images for small flaws or changes, diagnostic radiologists should have excellent eyesight.
Reflection: I want to be a Radiologist because it looks like a good job and they get paid alot.
